EMWD (Eastern Municipal Water District) hosts FREE birding tours led by experienced Audubon Society members at our Wetlands Facility on the fourth Saturday of every month from October through April (weather permitting).
Join us and share the opportunity to view hundreds of ibises, egrets, blackbirds, and many other migratory and resident birds in their natural habitat. The EMWD Wetlands is a permanent demonstration project that “polishes” recycled water produced by the adjacent reclamation facility before its distribution to nearby farms, dairies, and the San Jacinto Wildlife Area for irrigation and additional environmental uses.
